The journey starts here, with you at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:As a Technical Writer you will research, design, and create user-focused documents in an appropriate medium and format, such as online help, user guides, installation guides, videos, API reference guides, e-learning, and UI screen text, to assist users work with and thrive in real-life situations using SITA applications and solutions.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Manage multiple products/projects
Interact with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders as and when required in the project cycle to determine the user assistance requirements in a business context
Identify the different types of users for a product/solution, and the specific needs of each user type, provide a voice of the user.
Research the product or solution using specifications, working in test software, existing training materials, attending training courses, on-site visits, or user interviews.
Design the structure, scope, and format of documents to assist and engage the users, and present your design to relevant stakeholders and dentify key delivery dates for the documents (design, approval, writing, reviewing, publication) to fit into project deadlines.
Submit draft documents for review to key reviewers, and assess and implement feedback and publish documents to the agreed channels in a timely manner for the project deadlines.
Apply UX writing techniques to write or review on-screen text, such as labels, error messages, tooltips, or micro-help, in collaboration with the UX Designer and Product Owner.
Contribute to team procedures; be prepared to challenge existing ways of thinking and provide feedback or copy-editing support to peers during a review cycle.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE:

Degree in Technical Communication, English, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Soft skills gained at previous professional roles (3+ years).
Excellent writing and editing skills, good presentation skills
Ability to present complex information in simple and straightforward language
Can collaborate with stakeholders to collect and explore ideas
Able to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively
Experience of single-sourcing, and industry-standard tools for Technical Writing and User Assistance

NICE-TO-HAVE:

Experience of the Agile methodology of software development
Empathy and ability to put yourself in the position of the user
Interest in User Assistance, Design, and Information Technology
