
Classification Engineer

- . You will collect and analyze the necessary data (technical documentation, sketches, drawings, correspondence, etc.) in order to perform tariff and dual-use classification for goods involved in import-export operations;
- Review technical documentation and other relevant data to determine tariff and dual-use classification; perform technical analysis and determine the tariff classification (according to the EU's Integrated Tariff – TARIC) and the dual-use status of goods (in accordance with the COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2547/2024 of 5 September 2024 amending Regulation (EU) 821/2021);
- Enter classification results (customs codes – HTS and export codes – ECCN) into Flex’s internal systems;
- Periodically check and audit the accuracy of data entered in systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable trade compliance legislation in the field of import-export operations (correct use of customs codes, dual-use codes, and origin determination by staff handling import-export activities);
- Contribute ideas for the continuous improvement and optimization of work procedures to increase operational efficiency.
- University degree in a technical field(Electronics and Telecommunication Electrical Engineering);
- Relevant knowledge of electronics;
- Solid skills in using MS Office;
- Advanced written and spoken English;
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents;
