Project Buyer

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on project-based purchasing.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Smartsheet).
• Proficiency in English - both spoken and written.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage procurement activities for assigned projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance) to understand material requirements and ensure timely sourcing.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, lead negotiations, and manage contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation in the ERP system (SAP or equivalent).
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure consistent delivery and quality.
• Track project milestones and report on procurement status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and cost-saving initiatives.
