If so, let's start the conversation.Job summary:As a member of the SQL Database Team the qualified candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining SQL Databases. These tasks will include troubleshooting systems, configuring database variables, understanding architecture, analyzing scripts prior to deployment, debugging, and executing scripts.Provide operational support for SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.Management of SQL Server environments and health.Create, modify, analyze, and manage T-SQL scripts and Connections strings to database environmentsYour role in our mission:Under general direction, the DBA is responsible for the following:

Installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server Database environments across multiple Operating Systems and versions. SQL always on.
Research and evaluate SQL Server Versions relevant to the environment
Serves as a contact for vendors of equipment and services-
Designing strategy towards Capacity Management for DB tracks.-
Designing SQL Server Security (Server hardening, Auditing,SOX compliance)-
High Availability Features (Always On 2016, Failover Clustering, Database Mirroring, Log Shipping, Replication)-
Administering SSRS, SSIS and SSAS (Functional knowledge will be an added advantage)
Manage SQL Server databases

Skills, and Qualifications:

Database Version: SQL Server 2016 through SQL Server 2022
Database HA Options: SQL Server through Cluster Manager, Mirroring, Log Shipping, Always On sql 2016, Distributed always on
Database Components: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SSMS, Maintenance Plan Creation – Editing – Execution, Performance Tuning
Network Technology: A basic understanding of Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP
Cluster technologies: MS Clustering
Client OS: Windows 7
Languages: T-SQL
Client Applications Microsoft Office 2014, Visio
