Analysis and development:
Translate needs into thoughtful and creative IT solutions that can drive sustainable business benefits.
Support Product owner developing project plans, obtaining business approvals, implementation of changes, and overall project management to ensure goals are accomplished within prescribed time frame and cost.
Hold regular meetings with users to determine cadence, progress and address any questions or challenges regarding assigned projects and initiatives.
Document all estimates, project statuses, and project completion paperwork.
Monitor development of solutions and perform acceptance tests.
Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects as appropriate.
Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the needs of the internal nVent functional areas, overall business and technology needs, and industry trends and directions.
Support/Maintenance:
Manage enhancement and support requests for digital systems.
Propose and discuss new developments or software addons to improve existing systems and digital business processes.
Configure software in accordance with industry and software vendor guidelines, while adhering to proper internal procedures and standards.
Development of training documents and facilitate training as needed.
YOU HAVE:
Certificate of Higher Education in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or relevant Field
Fluency in English & Romanian, both verbally and in writing
Analytic and problem solving skills
Skills in attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Strong organization, planning, and decision making ability
Skill in accomplishing work through others using collaboration and negotiation
Ability to multi-task and work independently as part of a global team.
Eager to learn fast on electrical enclosures industry and related digital business processes
Agile Methodologies Knowledge is a plus
Salesforce.com Knowledge is a plus (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and/or Commerce Cloud)
SQL Knowledge is a plus
