Job DescriptionAbout the Company: Our client is an international group with strong agricultural and commercial roots, operating in Romania through distribution activities. The company fosters a collaborative environment, blending entrepreneurial spirit with multinational standards, and works closely with international teams.Key details:

Hybrid work model: 3 days office / 2 days remote
Flexible schedule
Small, collaborative finance team - reporting to Finance Manager (with growth potential towards Chief Accountant role)

Core responsibilities:

Record daily accounting operations (AP, expenses, bank postings, reconciliations)
Perform payments and prepare supporting reports/documentation
Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closings
Collaborate with auditors and ensure compliance with local standards
Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization
(Temporary) support payroll provider with inputs, checks, and compliance until Chief Accountant role is filled

Candidate profile:

Strong accounting foundation (chart of accounts, taxation basics, reporting, e-invoice, SPV)
SAP - hands-on experience in the last 2-3 years is a must
Background in commercial companies (distribution/buy-sell model), ideally in a multinational environment
University degree in Accounting/Finance
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Good English command
Motivated to grow into a Chief Accountant role in the future
