- Participate in the development of the operating manuals, procedures and work instructions.
- Set-up the tools and systems that will be used during the operations phase (electronic CCR log book, registers, POB management, etc…).
- Act as operations representative during construction and commissioning participating and supporting systems walkdowns, punch-listing, acceptance, OTP (Operational Test Plans).
- Participate in and validate various „Factory Acceptance Test”.
- Participate in the commissioning of the entire project facilities.
- Participate in the development of the Operating manuals, detailed Operating procedures and work instructions.
- Set-up the tools and systems that will be used during the operations phase (electronic CCR log book, registers, etc…).
- Act in the the field offshore, participating in the execution of the safe initial start-up of the facilities towards stable operations.
- Area Authority for the offshore facilities, responsible for executing field works such as safing and de-safing of equipment for maintenance intervention, operating and monitoring equipment and machinery of the production system, in a safe, efficient, and optimized manner in close collaboration with the rest of the Operations team.
- Monitor the alarm signals generated by exceeding the parameter predefined limits or by the faulty operation of equipment or instruments.
- Act in case Fire and Gas Detection System triggers, in line with the operations procedure.
- Optimize chemical injection rates.
- Perform facilities/unit/equipment shutdown and start-up as per approved procedures.
- Record timely and accurately, in the CCR log book, the main events and activities of the shift and handover to incoming shift.
- Communicate with the Field Support Vessel (FSV) and personnel onboard the offshore platform when manned.
- Perform equipment/unit/plant isolation for maintenance, in compliance with Procedures and PTW System.
- Responsible for recording – and keeping the PTW/Isolations/EPIs/etc… registers updated.
- Ensure and control compliance with company Permit to Work Procedure.
- Be part of the Emergency Response Team and apply the Emergency Response Plan and other Emergency Procedures established at Station and Asset level; ensuring the safety of personnel and installations.
- Monitor weather station and Ship Identification systems.
- Communicate with onshore and offshore Helicopter Operators when Helicopter operation is initiated.
- Draw up activity and hand-over reports to the next shift with all required information.
- Initiate modification proposal / MoC in order to enhance safety, production performance and plant up-time.
- Propose and initiate modifications to improve Operating Procedures.
- Train and coach other operators in operations, as part of the succession and contigency plans.
- Prepare the daily Production and Operation Report to the Senior Expert Operations.
- Raise notifications in CMMS to initiate corrective maintenance activities.
- Initiate and participate to Root Cause Analysis for each recorded loss of production.
- Inform and advise the Senior Expert Operations on all aspects related to the installation: safety, process, equipment and personnel.
- University degree in oil & gas engineering or similar
- 9-12 years of experience in petroleum / oil & gas industry, including a minimum of 5 years experience in offshore projects / operations.
- Specialized knowledge in oil and gas processes. incl. control and safety systems, critical equipment such as separator, dehydration, gas turbine, hydrates, motors, pumps, F&G, ESD, SECE.
- Previous experience in Field Operations of an extraction facility.
