Do you?Here’s a sneak peak of what our colleagues say about working within ING Hubs Romania:At ING, we're building the solutions of tomorrow, today | 80% of our colleagues in Romania agree.The MissionThe Cash & Liquidity systems (Group Treasury) deal with multi-year (5+ years) projects to upgrade the new and legacy systems which would provide new ways to benefit from market shifts. The projects have multiple phases where we would be streamlining internal applications/flows and would be enhancing components/services to standardize flows towards the strategic cash and liquidity solution. Currently, we are working on the Cash & Liquidity Unite Engine (CLUE), part of CALM (Cash and Liquidity Management). CLUE component is a real-time pass-through system where all the interfaces towards cash & liquidity and payments applications would be directed towards CLUE and flows will be simplified and data will be provided to the strategic solution. CALM components can be seen as a type of normalization services that can scale up drastically with high availability. Current focus of the project is to onboard as many cash-flow systems as possible and to provide a highly available, highly scalable, resilient solution that can handle millions of messages.We have following applications in our portfolio:
  • Smart Predict – existing vendor solution for the Liquidity solution
  • CALM with the following components:
  • CLUE
  • CLUE_DUPLICATE_CHECK
  • KAFKA_ADAPTER
  • CLUE_API_ADAPTER
  • CLUE_REPLAYER
  • Various testing suites
  • And others like message simulators, reference checks, Prometheus component and librarie
Your day to dayEven if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for the full stack/platform on Development, Test, Acceptance and Production environments.
  • As part of the squad, you work in an Agile/Scrum way, on the backlog prioritized by a Product Owner, and you demo your features.
  • Improve application monitoring using the correct and agreed event alerts (Grafana, Prometheus);
  • Support in performing High Availability and Disaster Recovery tests.
  • Implement and work with the latest tooling with a strong focus on performance, stability and security.
  • Work on technical improvements (automation, monitoring, setting up environments, Azure DevOps pipelines).
  • Continuous deployment and delivery using Azure DevOps.
  • IT Risk & security controls need to be put in place and accurately documented, for this you will need to get familiar with and keep up to date with the ING Information Security Management Policy.
  • Participate in Scrum rituals: Stand ups/Retros/Refinements/Reviews.
What you’ll bring to the team
  • Experience:
  • 4+ years’ experience as an infrastructure professional.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (such as: Azure Devops, Git, Sonar, Checkmarx).
  • Experience with containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift.
  • Passion for technology, drive for continuous improvement and using your creativity to achieve this.
  • Strong analytical skills, proactivity and willingness to share knowledge with others.
  • Ability and agility to organize and motivate others to improve themselves.
  • Very good soft skills (communicative, friendly, curious, etc.).
  • Experience in SCRUM with a strong preference for the agile way of working.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience of java/sql/plsql development
  • Experience working with TDD and BDD
  • Some project experience in financial market group treasury
  • Foreign languages: English (advanced)
  • Education: nice to have bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an IT related field
