This role is mainly managing post-SOP programs.Together with Account Management you are managing the customer interface.The defined (Post-SOP)-Team 1 is your core team responsible for development and implementation of Value Management Measure that meets Value Management (VM) Goals while keeping customer satisfaction.The purpose of Team 1 is to deliver the product in accordance with Value Management milestones into stable production and to meet cost saving targets. The Team1 consists of sales, design, product sourcing, manufacturing and quality roles and is led by the Program Manager.Your Team:This role has no subordinates.What You Will DoAct in a team to develop and implement Value Management Measures.Close alignment on targets with Value Management Organization.Drive the VM implementation of the program as overall program responsible.Responsible to deliver the product according to agreed VM-measures.Balance triple constraint of cost, timing and quality performance to VM objectives.Manage changes and program risk while executing the VM measure implementation and launch process, Supervise Scope Management (internal / external CCBs).Active support of Value Management Organization with respect to measure idea creation, process definition and continuous improvement.Top level planning and controlling w/r to schedule and budget.Close technical alignment with functional departments.Reporting towards customer and internally incl. management board (CEO-level).What You Need to Be SuccessfulBachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant (E/E Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)(IT connected) specializations.Bachelor of Science in a technical field or equivalent experience.Minimum 5 years product development and/or program management experience with specific experience in at least one area of technical specialization (software, hardware, mechanical or manufacturing) preferably in an automotive application.Developed and launched at least 1 product through the lifecycle from business commitment through stable production.Expected general skills includes, but not limited to, cross functional and international team leadership, arbitrate technical tradeoffs, problem solving, negotiation, P&L understanding and communication skills.Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in project managementAbility to mediate between conflict parties and to work under pressure.Fluent in English (written and verbal).Bonus Points if You HaveExperience with infotainment systems.Experience in automotive industry.Master of Science, Technical or MBA, PMP Certification.Automotive supplier, Tier1 Electronics background, Direct experience with applicable customer.What Makes You EligibleWillingness to international travel (20% of time) and to work from the office, depending on the project necessities.Successfully complete a background investigation.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Good communication skills.Solid English knowledge.Ability to adapt quickly.What We OfferWork in international teams with the world's largest automotive manufacturers.Use HARMAN Flex - choose the right working model fitting their job (WFH, Hybrid or Office)Access career development opportunities and get both on the job training on high-end automotive projects, as well as extensive technical training.Access HARMAN Web shop with large employee discounts for audio products (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, AKGAre encouraged to a healthy work/life balance with a progressive holiday plan based on total work experience, 2 sick days, 3 days off compensation for weekend legal holidays and flextime.And of course, enjoy meal tickets, a premium medical subscription, fitness discounts and other corporate perks.#LI-AB3You Belong HereHARMAN is committed to making every employee feel welcomed, valued, and empowered.
