As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain custom programs and interfaces (SOAP, XI/PROXY, IDOC, HTTP(s), REST, RFC, FILE) in SAP while meeting coding standards.
- Reviews and understands customer requirements and specifications.
- Interprets business requirements , estimates effort and duration and implements the necessary technology to fulfill requirements.
- Develops the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to custom adapter implementation and application interfaces.
- Writes increasingly complex code to create single-threaded or user interface event driven applications, either stand-alone or those which access servers or services.
- Designs and ensures unit and integration testing is completed to ensure quality.

- 3+ years of SAP development experience
- Demonstrated experience with development, maintenance, and support of applications related to SAP ECC 6.0 or higher, SAP S/4 HANA and other IT systems.
- Excellent knowledge of CPI/PI/XI interfaces; ABAP coding techniques skills are a plus
- Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team
- Very strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work closely with IT&S leadership and business project team members in a diverse and inclusive environment
- Expert troubleshooting, debugging and problem analysis skills
- Knowledge of the Agile methodology or a related project waterfall methodology.
- Knowledge of front-end Fiori development (HTMLS/CSS/JavaScript), SAP Invoice Management by OpenText, Business Objects 4.2 (Lumira server 2.3), BW development would be a plus.
- S/4 HANA implementation experience preferred.
- SAP certification would be desirable however not necessary.
