FunctionHealth, Safety & EnvironmentJob DescriptionAn opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Coordinator, based in Constanta, Romania.
Job Responsibilities:

Apply and implement procedures, standards and campaigns on occupational safety and health for grain storage silos;
Transpose elements of safety culture in each location, according to local specifics, interact with the head of each location and related staff and manage corporate and legal requirements in line with: HSE, PSI, SU;
Collaborates with the external occupational health and safety service;
Develops own procedures and instructions for occupational safety and health;
Develops and updates the Prevention and Protection Plan, evacuation plan, intervention and fire fighting schemes;
Follow up the implementation of the measures established by the employer by the authorities with control attributions;
Trains and tests the personnel in the field of health and safety, PSI and SU;
Checks the compliance with the legal provisions on health and safety at work and emergency situations, the use of collective and individual means of protection by workers;
Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of reports required by the legislation in force, as well as those requested by the company management;
Carries out spot checks, inspections, audits in the field of health and safety at work and occupational health and safety, submits reports to the manager together with proposals for improvement;

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in similar activities;
Technical college/ Master's degree in SSM;
Specific courses: SSM inspector course - 80 hours; /Risk assessor course - 180 hours/ PSI technical framework course - 80 hours/ NEBOSH course - IGC;
English language at intermediate level;
MS Office package: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook;
Driving license: B Category/ 40% travel availability.
