At the same time, the company is responsible for carrying out all internal and external mobility projects, both for its own staff and for staff belonging to Damen Galati Shipyard.
The wide range of services derives from the variety of staff the company has, from shipbuilders, welders and pipe fitters to design and management specialists.The role The QC inspector will work on the Damen Galati Shipyard platform on the vessels under construction and will be responsible for inspections on products and materials to detect any defects or deviations.
You will also monitor and observe work operations to ensure that production standards are met.
Through the work performed you will make an important contribution to reducing errors and improving processes, assessing product quality and analyzing recurring manufacturing errors or defects.Key accountabilities - Carry out daily inspections with the client & class representatives.
- Handle non-conformities issued by the class and/or client.
- Verify resolution of issues noted in non-conformance reports and patrol reports and closes them in SnagR and Rdrive systems.
- Prepare and present critical points to the departments involved at the start of each new project
- Responsible for ensuring that all tasks set out in the job description are carried out to the best of his/her ability
- Ensures the confidentiality of all information obtained through the activities carried outSkills & experience - Bachelor's/Master's degree in a technical field
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point; Power BI
- Romanian language - native level
- Advanced knowledge of English - written and verbal communication
