- Our client is a long-established Netherlands-based medical equipment distributor. As the exclusive representative of world-leading medical technology brands across Central & Eastern Europe, they supply ICU, OR, emergency, neonatology and anaesthesia departments in major hospitals.
- They are now expanding their commercial team in Romania - building a young, driven sales force around cultural fit and long-term growth.
- As a Sales Specialist, you will own the full sales cycle for your assigned territory - from prospecting through to contract closure. You will develop relationships with key hospital stakeholders, manage public procurement tenders on SEAP, and grow both the existing portfolio (KAM) and new business (hunter). Approximately 50% of your focus will be on each.
- You are expected to be in the field with clients at least 2 days per week. The rest of the time you work remotely from your home city.
- Execute territory sales strategy for ICU/OR devices and consumables
- Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation, clinical presentations, demos, SEAP tenders, negotiation and closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ICU physicians, anaesthesiologists, surgeons, biomedical engineers and procurement teams
- Lead product presentations and workshops with distributor partners
- Maintain accurate CRM pipeline and provide sales forecasting
- Collaborate with the service engineering team on installations and after-sales support
- 3-5 years of medical device sales experience into hospitals (ICU / OR experience preferred)
- Proactive, self-driven - comfortable with cold calling and generating your own leads
- Existing hospital contacts in your region are a strong advantage
- Fast learner with a high-drive personality
- Understanding of Romanian public and private hospital procurement (SEAP experience a plus)
- Fluent Romanian; professional English (mandatory)
- University degree (medical, engineering or business preferred) + valid driving license
- 8,000 - 10,000 RON net/month (base) + bonus scheme linked to revenue targets
