From automating accounting and bookkeeping to enabling intelligent, agentic workflows, we integrate artificial intelligence deeply into our product and engineering culture.Our backend runs on Java (Spring Boot) and the frontend on React and TypeScript, deployed through Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.As a mid level DevOps Engineer, you will be a reliable contributor, collaborating closely with a Senior SRE Engineer to mantain and scale our care platform.Your missionOwn CI/CD Automation: Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and automated delivery of our Java/Spring Boot and React applications to Kubernetes.Manage Infrastructure: Implement and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS) using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) in partnership with the Senior SRE.Ensure Operational Health: Collaborate on improving monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues in our production environments.Drive Reliability: Contribute to implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to enhance system performance, security, and stability.Enable Product Teams: Provide tooling and guidance to product engineers, helping them adopt better operational and deployment practices.Your profileEngineering experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience building (as in software development) and operating production software systems in a cloud environment.Core Technical Skills: Solid practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and managing services on AWS.Automation Focus: Proven ability to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Operational Mindset: Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing systems, and a strong passion for solving operational challenges.SRE Enthusiasm: Eagerness to learn and adopt SRE principles and work effectively alongside a Senior SRE to improve platform resilience.Collaborative Approach: Excellent communication in English (C1) and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Why us?Freedom and flexibility: Choose your setup, work remotely or hybrid (3 days / week in the office) from Munich or Cluj, with flexible hours and real ownership.Meaningful impact: Build technology that helps thousands of people simplify property management every day.Modern environment: Work with a cutting-edge tech stack (React, TypeScript, Java, AWS, Kubernetes) and up-to-date tools.Growth opportunities: Focus on technical deep dives into SRE, cloud infrastructure, and automation, shaping the reliability of the platform as we scale.Supportive culture: Join a diverse, agile startup team that values autonomy, trust, and collaboration with guidance during onboarding and beyond.About usImpower is a SaaS Startup founded in Munich, with a team of 50+ people from 10+ nationalities in 2 offices across Europe.Our ambition is bold: to redefine how property management works across Germany — fully digital, AI-driven, and built for people who value simplicity and control.
