- Provide effective leadership and guidance to a department of 35 individuals, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss performance, goals, and career development opportunities.
- Establish and maintain clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement.
- Manage employee relations issues and conflicts in a fair and constructive manner, seeking to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Identify training and development needs within the team and coordinate learning initiatives to address skill gaps and support career progression.
- Monitor team performance metrics and implement strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in people management and incorporate relevant insights into team practices.
- Work closely with the Delivery Lead to ensure workload in the team does not exceed people’s capabilities.
- Perform frequent check-in on in-flight projects to review statues are accurate and ensure quality gates are being fulfilled.
- Have a good understanding of the processes and delivery model in the team and be able to reinforce it as best practice.
- Be proactive about resolving gaps in the process, and creating new processes where needed, to optimize delivery and collaboration in the team, and with other functions of the business
- Produce clear actions / minutes from meetings and circulate accordingly.
- Facilitate communication between different locations / departments.
- Cascade down information related to clients / department goals / business decisions, etc.

- Report high level information to management on a regular basis to ensure efficient delivery.
- Ensure monthly activity reporting is produced.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams to achieve business objectives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate team members at all levels.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address employee issues and conflicts with diplomacy and professionalism.

- Proven Leadership experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership or people management role, preferable in the IT industry.
