- Develop and implement the company's DevOps strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with software engineering and on-prem infrastructure teams to streamline the development and deployment processes.
- Drive the adoption of DevSecOps best practices, tools, and methodologies across the organization.
- Drive SRE operational best practices, tools, and methodologies to ensure service performance and availability is aligned with target KPIs
- Defining and implementing monitoring and alerting strategies to proactively identify and address system issues.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, continuous optimization, and automation
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the company's technology environment.
- Measuring and reporting performance and team outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in a Technical Discipline (CS, EE, Math, Physics, etc.)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in building, managing and leading software and infrastructure support teams
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and implement innovative solutions.
- Expert knowledge of DevOps and SRE principles and best practices with a deep understanding of Kubernetes
- Hand-on experience working on deployment, automation, monitoring, and operational aspects of Web Applications based on enterprise Java/J2EE environments
- Hands-on experience in development and deploying software in Public (GCP, AWS) and/or Private cloud environment
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environment and scripting languages: Shell, Perl, Python
- Hands-on experience at deep root cause analysis and identifying and addressing systemic problems
- Solid experience with Microservice architecture, deployment orchestration technologies like Docker Container, Rancher, Kubernetes, Kops, Helmchart
- Strong experience with Databases (SQL/NoSQL), in-memory databases (eg Redis), message brokers (eg RabbitMQ), and distributed event streaming (eg Kafka)
- Deep knowledge security best practices in the public cloud
- Superior communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to adapt to time critical deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
