
Commodity Lead

- Requesting quotations, examining offers, negotiating commercial terms, selecting suppliers;
- Monitoring orders for materials and / or services to suppliers; financial reconciliation between orders and invoices;
- Management of procurement projects, with impact on the company's financial results;
- Organizing and coordinating tenders for the procurement of goods and services;
- Reducing costs and improving payment terms with Flex Romania suppliers, indirect materials and services, applying Business Ethics and Flex Policies and Procedures;
- Continuous market research to expand the list of potential suppliers and ensure preliminary contacts;
- The process of evaluation and selection of the supplier, meetings with the suppliers, analysis of the contracts, audits at suppliers;
- Monitoring and observance of the contracts in place;
- Advising project managers requesting support on procurement related topics;
- Interaction with internal departments to resolve procurement/contractual issues, interface with the legal consultant if necessary.
- University degree (Economics or Law is an advantage);
- Experience in the field of procurement and supplier management (2 – 4 years experience;
- Experience in the management of commercial contracts (principles, contractual clauses, etc.);
- English - advanced level (written and spoken);
- Good knowledge of PC operations - MS Office, Internet;
- Capacity for analysis and synthesis, customer orientation;
- Ability to interpret a wide variety of numerical data;
- Good communication skills and team spirit;
- Knowing an ERP system is an advantage.
