Do you?The MissionIn the ING Global Cloud tribe, a position of Front-end Software Developer has become available. As a front-end software developer you will be working on the ING Private Cloud Portal.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Typescript, Angular and Lit. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our applications using a range of technologies. You will work closely with the rest of the development teams to ensure that the code you write is of high quality, is maintainable, and meets the needs of the business.Your day to dayEven if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the front-ends of our software applications using Typescript, Lit, Angular;
Collaborate with designers in order to deliver a great user experience in our portal;
Collaborate with the back-end development teams to ensure that code is of high quality, maintainable and meets business needs;
Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise;
Participate in code reviews to ensure that all code meets standards;
Various technologies including, but not limited to Ansible, RHEL, Oracle database, Azure DevOps tools, Nginx.

What you’ll bring to the team

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
4+ years of experience in software development;
Knows the ins- and outs of single page applications;
Strong knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, HTML and CSS;
Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue.js);
Knows what a headless frond-end is and is familiar with REST or GraphQL API;
Proficiency with Git and version control systems;
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
