We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.SAP FICO consultant provides Application Support for business applications and is responsible for the stability of the application. The person performing the role may lead delivery of other members of the team and control their work where applicable with in-depth application knowledge and understanding of the business processes. Monitoring and tracking activities, analyzing issues, supporting the resolution of issues and preparing reports and meetings.Responsibilities

Provide end‑to‑end Application support for SAP systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and executing maintenance activities.
Resolve incidents, events, and complex functional issues, ensuring seamless coordination with infrastructure, interface, and cross‑module teams.
Collaborate with development teams to analyse functional problems, propose solutions, and contribute to reduction of manual toil.
Deliver functional expertise on SAP ECC and S/4HANA across FI/CO modules, including integration points and upstream/downstream dependencies.
Manage incident prioritization, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive timely resolution in line with defined SLAs.
Escalate issues promptly and proactively when risks or delays are identified.
Prepare operational reports, participate in governance forums, and support stakeholder communication.
Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve system stability, performance, and operational efficiency.
Drive automation for monitoring, alerting, and routine support tasks to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
Implement observability best practices, including enhanced logging, metrics, dashboards, and proactive health checks.

Skills

Must have experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA) - REFX, Electronic Bank Statement (EBS), Cost center Accounting, Profit center Accounting, Internal Orders, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Order to Cash processes.
Experience in SAP ECC migration to S/4 HANA (1909 and above)
Experience in Multicurrency accounting.
Act as Techno functional consultant and Basic ABAP debugging skills.
Experience in Year-end activities and balance carry forward etc.
Knowledge of cross functional skills, Interfaces, batch feed monitoring/processing, Incident/problem management, agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence) and any Job scheduling tool is an added advantage.
