Job Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to support switchboard and electrical system design for projects in the shipbuilding sector. You will work with EPLAN P8 to develop technical drawings and documentation for low- and medium-voltage switchboards. While the projects are in the shipbuilding industry, previous experience in shipbuilding is not required—we value your electrical design expertise above all.Key Responsibilities:Design electrical schematics and panel layouts using EPLAN P8Prepare wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable lists, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Ensure designs comply with IEC, EN, and UL standardsCollaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teamsPerform design validation and support manufacturability checksOffer technical assistance during assembly, testing, and commissioningParticipate in internal design reviews and implement improvementsMaintain organized and up-to-date project documentationRequirements:Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineMinimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical design (preferably switchboards)Knowledge of control panels, PLC wiring, and power distribution systemsSolid understanding of relevant international electrical standardsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving mindsetGood English skills (technical communication level)Team player with strong coordination and communication abilitiesNice to Have:Familiarity with EPLAN or similar 3D panel design toolsExperience with AutoCAD Electrical, SAP, or other design toolsBackground in industrial automation or energy systemsInterest in shipbuilding or marine electrical systems (experience not mandatory)What We Offer:Opportunity to contribute to large-scale shipbuilding projectsCompetitive salary and employee benefitsFlexible hybrid working model – office based in BucharestTechnical development, training, and long-term career prospectsCollaborative and engineering-driven work cultureContact: Email: Telefon: +40 732 472 744
