Romanian language – mandatoryOur client is a well-established infrastructure and civil works company with over 25 years of experience delivering major projects such as highways, bridges, dams, irrigation systems, tunnels, and social infrastructure. Following the award of a new contract for the modernization and extension of DN71 Bâldana – Târgoviște – Sinaia, we are looking to hire an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the site-based team in Romania.Key Responsibilities:Cost Estimation & Budget ManagementPrepare accurate cost estimates and monitor project budgets.Track expenses and flag potential cost overruns in a timely manner.Measurement & ValuationMeasure and assess on-site work quantities.Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and interim valuations for progress claims.Contract Administration & ProcurementManage contracts in line with project requirements.Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors; review and approve invoices.Risk & Quality OversightIdentify and mitigate cost and contractual risks.Ensure quality standards are met through regular site inspections.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare and submit detailed financial and progress reports.Maintain clear, up-to-date records of project activities and variations.Collaboration & Stakeholder ManagementWork closely with engineers and site teams for accurate project delivery.Communicate proactively with clients and project stakeholders.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Proven experience (preferably 10+ years) as a Quantity Surveyor in road and bridge construction.Prior involvement in national infrastructure projects with CNAIR is highly desirable.Fluency in Romanian is mandatory. English languageStrong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and valuation processes.Email:
