Guided by the vision of “smart and sustainable solutions beyond rubber,” the group sector draws on its long-standing knowledge of the industry and materials to open up new business opportunities by combining various materials with electronic components and individual services.Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Manager Green Taxes and Global Customs at Group Sector ContiTech!In this role you will take over responsibility for common understood Global Customs and Green Taxes Strategy at ContiTech worldwide. Together with the Global Customs Head and regional leaders you will take care to determine the strategy for Foreign Trade, which is aligned with the ContiTech business strategy to ensure Customs Compliance, Performance, Customer Centricity and Business Value. Therefore you will take over responsibility to determine the strategy, align roadmap and milestones and track its implementation worldwide.Moreover you will act as a sparring-partner for the regions to challenge them and to ensure all existing customs opportunities for creating a real worldwide value add with the Customs.Apart from ensuring Global Customs Compliance while generating business value, we are on a mission to safely guide Sustainable Practices within the scope of European Taxation, navigating through complex regulations such as CBAM, the Plastic Packaging Tax and more.In this field, we're seeking a dedicated individual to help us translate these regulations from theory to practice and to define their implementation across our European entities and locations. You will work in this role with our strategic business partner but also with German and European Authorities and help ContiTech to navigate the implementation.Your Role:Understand and translate new regulations in the area of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance whenever there is a link to Customs ) (...) from a central perspective into actionable strategies, spanning a wide variety of materials and business areas.Working with German and European Customs and Environmental Authorities as well with our third party partner and ensuring the navigation of the whole Green responsibilityWorking on strategic projects and initiatives in terms of Global Customs and helping senior management to navigate Global Customs: Strategy, Governance, Compliance and Business Value.Functional leadership of the global data manager and regional teams towards implementation of the strategyDevelop guidelines and processes to ensure compliance with growing regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance through the definition of processes for risk management, -reporting, and -mitigation within our scope.Support in developing data analytics capabilities for central monitoring purposes.Conduct impact analyses with a keen focus on customs, sustainable taxes, and levies, highlight and document findings, and implement necessary measures accordingly.Serve as a central contact person for our growing area of expertise, fostering support and collaboration across departments.Leading and contributing to projects in the area of expertiseSupport in the preparation of corporate reports with a focus on customs, sustainable taxes and levies, showcasing our commitment to compliance and best practices.Provide training and training material to internal teams, ensuring seamless integration into operations.Qualifications

University degree within business/global trade/supply chain or long experience in one of the following fields: customs/ supply chain/ taxes or general business management.
You show good social competence, including communication skills, openness, a cooperative working style and the ability to work across cultures and countries.
You have high affinity for understanding legal regulatory, management of complex topics and preparing management presentations, including experience with MS Excel, MS Power Point and similar.
You show motivation and initiative by setting your own expectations and goals.
You ideally have experience in projects across functions.
You are fluent in German and English both speaking and writing.
You prefer a team-oriented way of working and show assertiveness.
