Automation Engineer

• Fault detection with or without a computer;
• PLC and inverter programming;
• Machine development for new and used production machines;
• PLC and PC skills, training and diagnosis skills;
• Knowledge of diagnosis methods and devices for electrical systems;
• Be familiar with and use measuring instruments and devices;
• Read electrical drawings according to the European standard, assist in repairing the machinery;
• Transform the electrical drawings according to the requirements, if changes occur;
• Demonstrate an understanding of common circuit applications;
• Identify and understand the basic electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics systems;
• Train electric staff and assist them if needed;
• Perform preventative maintenance programs and prepare maintenance reports;
• Manage and report to the line manager the minimum and maximum stocks of spare parts in the store;
• Prepare requests for new materials and inspect the materials supplied;
• Be familiar with and use, after training, the electrical and mechanical devices and lifting equipment;
• Assist the teams of electricians, in repair works, under their direct coordination, for steady mechanical installations;
• Be familiar with and comply with the rules relating to health, safety, and environmental protection;
• Be familiar with and use the workshop equipment for monitoring the condition of machinery and equipment;
• Participate in the selection, training and development of subordinated staff, in close collaboration with the Human Resource Department;
• Identify, document and accomplish tasks indicated on the predictive maintenance table in the maintenance shop;
• Ensure and keep a good cleaning condition at the workplace;
