About the RoleYou will join the HARMAN Intelligent Cockpit organization supporting the Ready Vision Augmented Reality platform by executing and improving software testing activities that keep releases stable, predictable, and production-grade.This is a 6-month BootCamp (full-time or part-time) with a hybrid working model; on-site preferred (Bucharest) due to collaboration with engineering teams and hands-on validation workflows.What You'll Gain
  • Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing for an automotive-grade software platform and its releases.
  • Mentorship from experienced testers and engineers, with exposure to real debugging and root-cause analysis practices.
  • Practical opportunities to apply AI-assisted productivity in test design, log analysis, and reporting-while keeping quality and validation as first principles
  • Potential pathway to a long-term role based on performance and business needs.
What You Will Do
  • Review software specifications and testing procedures
  • Develop and maintain test cases and supporting test tools.
  • Execute manual and automated tests for software releases and document results clearly.
  • Create detailed reports for executed test cases and communicate findings to the team.
  • Analyze error logs to support root-cause identification and faster resolution.
  • Follow defect reporting and tracking processes to ensure issues are actionable and traceable.
  • Ensure engineering processes conform to defined tooling, standards, and development approaches.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate test design ideas, log triage, and reporting drafts - always validating outputs and handling data responsibly.
What You Need to Be Successful
  • Strong fundamentals in Computer Science, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Good knowledge of Python and shell scripting.
  • Proficiency with Git and a Linux OS environment.
  • Teamwork mindset and strong collaboration habits.
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted tools to improve productivity in testing workflows (test design, analysis, documentation) with disciplined validation
  • Evidence of excellence through meaningful projects (automation, scripting, test frameworks, log-driven debugging) and disciplined execution.
Bonus Points if You Have
  • Experience in Automotive and/or Embedded Systems
  • Experience with Automation Testing Tools and Frameworks (i.e. pytest, Allure)

  • Fluent written and spoken English; high sense of responsibility; strong communication skills.
