Languages: RomanianOverviewWe are seeking a Romanian-speaking Content Moderator to join the ByteDance trust & safety team. The role focuses on reviewing, analyzing, and moderating content to ensure user safety and compliance with platform guidelines.
This position requires strong emotional resilience, as it may involve exposure to sensitive or potentially disturbing content.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with safety, legal, and community guidelines.Identify and remove harmful, abusive, or inappropriate material.Respond promptly to content-related incidents, escalating cases where necessary.Maintain high quality and accuracy while meeting productivity targets.Contribute feedback on policies and process improvements.Stay informed about platform updates and safety standards.RequirementsEssentialFluency in Romanian (C1/C2)Strong command of English (for training and internal communication)Ability to work on-site in PortoHigh emotional resilience and ability to handle sensitive contentStrong attention to detail and analytical mindsetAbility to work shifts, including weekends and rotational days offPreferredPrevious experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or customer operationsFamiliarity with online platforms and digital media guidelinesWork ConditionsShift pattern:Monday to Sunday — 09:00 to 18:00, with 2 rotating days offPlanned additional shift: 13:00 to 22:00Future possibility of moving to a 24/7 rotationWork model:On-site onlyCompensationMeal allowance: €7.63 net per working dayBenefitsCompany-provided shared accommodation * Stable employment with growth opportunities within an international environmentTraining providedImportant Note for CandidatesThis position involves daily exposure to graphic, disturbing, or sensitive material as part of the content review process.
