This position requires a broad background in radio frequency technologies, such as cellular technologies, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and related activities to get MNO certifications.What You Will DoResponsible for HARMAN automotive products certifications and type approvals, according to the requirements of MNOs, 3GPP industry and emergency services, in time, budget and quality, by managing related documentation and test requirementsMapping MNOs' network access approval requirements and test cases to HARMAN's automotive products use cases and specificationsContribute to increasing HARMAN's capabilities to execute in their own laboratories and testing facilities, to the maximum possible extent, relevant MNO test cases, to ensure smooth network access approval processesCollaborate with MNOs, Local Representatives, engineering and test teams to ensure that product requirements are feasible, clear, complete, and testable to get MNO certificationsWhat You Need to Be SuccessfulBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fieldBroad technical background with extended knowledge about mobile radio communications, with a special focus on 3GPP cellular technologies and standards; broad general knowledge about other technologies like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and automotive requirementsPractical hands-on experience in mobile user equipment testing in MNO labs or equivalent, experience in using 3GPP testing equipmentExperience in managing external and internal vendors/ partnersExperience in working with the telecommunications industry and the automotive industryAbility to communicate with all levels of the businessBonus Points if You Have2 years of experience in MNO technical testing of 3GPP user equipment or comparable disciplineKnowledge in inter-process communication, threadingStrong communication skills, both written and oralVery good English knowledge, both written and verbalWhat Makes You EligibleWillingness to work in our office in BucharestThere will be occasional travels required to sync with the project necessitiesWhat We OfferFlexible work environmentAccess to employee discounts on world-class Harman and Samsung products (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, AKG, etc.)Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN UniversityCompetitive wellness benefits“Be Brilliant” employee recognition and rewards programAn inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development#LI-DP3#LI-HybridYou Belong HereHARMAN is committed to making every employee feel welcomed, valued, and empowered.
