Perform contract reviews for revenue-related contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment under ASC606 and document conclusions Review, recalculate, and analyze the accounting of revenue contracts in the revenue accounting automation system and communicate any required adjustments and/or revenue judgements to the Revenue Accounting team Collaborate with Global Support, Global Services and Cloud Services to ensure revenue is recognized accurately Assist in updating internal revenue policies and procedures and ensure procedures are followed in compliance with the Company's SOX controls Coordinate and/or review and respond to internal and external audit queries for corporate quarterly and annual audits to ensure auditors are receiving required information in an accurate and timely manner. Clarify operating procedures and help drive process improvement initiatives Assist in the compilation of various financial statement disclosures Understanding of general accounting principles and standards (knowledge of revenue preferred) Ability to research accounting guidance and apply to new business offerings Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Intellectual curiosity and creativity Ability to analyze and interpret data sets Strong attention to detail, time management, organization and communication skills Excellent communication skills: able to clearly communicate information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing 1-4 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field (Public Accounting firm experience a plus) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
