Management and execution of bank-wide projects, usually with significant budget and sizeable project teams.
Lead the assigned projects to deliver their scope in the agreed timeframe and budget, by taking ownership and accountability of projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from conception through post-implementation reviews.
Design the project approach, planning and drive the project execution by moving it steadily towards its completion and desired results.
Coordination of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams from business, operations, IT, support functions and external suppliers
Proper management of project risks, assessing the health of the project and anticipating the potential problems before they happen and finding ways to reach project goals under changing circumstances
Management of the relation with the stakeholders and sponsors of the project, by regular communication in all stages of the project
Management of the relation with 3rd party vendors
Financial management of the project, throughout project lifecycle
Quality assurance of projects.

What you bring to the team

You have experience working in high performing, cross functional teams
You know how to inspire, motivate and support a team to get things done
You are good at communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context
You know how to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization, and in a variety of contexts
You have experience and deep knowledge of agile methodologies.
University degree – preferably in Economics;
Min 5 years of relevant experience in banking and/or financial services industry (with proven track record on leading major changes/ projects)
Self starter, high-level of energy and can-do attitude
Result and deadline focus
Excellent organization and planning skills
Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills in Romanian and English
Leading and influencing skills, with proven ability to convince people and to turn resistance into cooperation
Ability to build, support and implement across organizational boundaries
Analysis and synthesis abilities
Working well under pressure situations.
