Project descriptionA leading international bank with a focus on Private, Corporate and Investment Banking. Its Technology, Data & Innovation unit is providing IT services and software development to these business areas from its worldwide development centres. TDI's strategic objective is to improve the time-to market with reduced costs by increasing the usage of central platforms, consolidating applications and decommissioning legacy applications, while transforming traditional on-premise services to cloud-based services. Shared Applications and Services has a central role in these activities with a global responsibility on shared software platforms. For our global Workflow Tribe, we are looking for you as a Senior QA Engineer with multiple years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing QA best practices. You will report into the QA Chapter Lead and work closely with the product owners, testers and developers of the squads.Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for testing activities on the project, ensure adherence to testing best practices and testing standards for an web application Analyze business and technical requirements Ensure that testing activities are being conducted in accordance with the testing strategy and plan Maintain timely, accurate and effective reporting of testing activities and defects Maintain QA-related project documentation Communicate with business, project managers, product owners, developers, deployment managers, IT application owners Developing tests cases, test plans, test scripts, test data sets, or test procedures based on business requirements

SKILLSMust have

At least 5 years of proven experience in testing (frontend, backend, microservices) API Testing with Postman or similar Strong experience with test planning, test documentation, defect tracking, reporting tools (ALM, Jira, Allure or similar) Solid understanding of Scrum/Agile software development methodologies Knowledge of relational databases Automation testing experience or willing to develop and learn

Nice to haveLoad and performance testing with JMeter At least a basic understanding of retail banking and operations processes
