Job Description:Data Lake EngineerAbout the positionOur Cyber Data Lake Engineering team supports the CSO's vision for Deutsche Bank. We're in a transformative phase, ensuring that our data capabilities are robust, secure, and scalable to accommodate the bank's growing demands. Our mission revolves around the optimal harnessing of data to fortify our security landscape. Being at the forefront of technology and data solutions, our team is essential in transitioning Deutsche Bank into a data-driven security model. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are on the lookout for a dynamic Data Lake Engineering Manager like you to lead, inspire, and ensure the smooth execution of our data strategies.Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy: Oversee the development and deployment of our Security Data Lake in alignment with the CSO's objectives.
Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with stakeholders throughout Deutsche Bank to ensure our data lake integrates seamlessly with our existing infrastructure and meets security standards.
Team & Vendor Management: Lead a team of data engineers and manage vendor relations, ensuring project goals are met with high-quality deliverables.
Hands-On Engineering: Dive deep into technical challenges when necessary, specifically Google Cloud Platform components like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Composer, ensuring our data pipelines are efficient and scalable.
Project Oversight: Ensure that data lake projects align with Deutsche Bank's security and technology objectives, and are delivered on time and within scope.

Skills and Experiences:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Data Expertise: Extended experience in managing and deploying data lake solutions, especially in a cloud environment.
GCP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically components like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Composer.
Infrastructure as Code: You'll be comfortable with using Terraform, CI/CD using Github Actions, devops best-practices, as well as have a proficient understanding of Cloud Networking (e.g. VPCs) and Cloud Security
Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams, driving innovation, and executing strategic projects.
Complex Problem Solving: A proven track record of understanding intricate challenges and converting them into actionable plans to yield solutions.
Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in controlled or regulated cloud environments is considered a plus.
