Its defence and space technologies enable governments and institutions to protect natural resources, societies and individual freedom.Interest group:IT technical specialists; Project Management background is a plusContract type/working time:Permanent/FulltimeWork experience:min 2 years overall working experience in IT / System Engineering technical domainmin 1 year experience in Project Management support areaWe are looking for a Chief Engineering Office / Engineering Data Management Specialist to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.Mission: Special subtype of system engineering with the focus on a transversal Engineering speciality: Chief Engineering Office / Engineering Data Management. Collaborates closely with the Chief Engineer / engineering project manager of different systems/system elements for Airbus Defence and Space applying the most efficient and innovative technologies, process and tools related to this specific area.Areas of impact: Project management, software development lifecycles, scheduling, engineering KPI reporting, interactive dashboards, delivery management, requirements’ database administration, technical documentation processesResponsibilities:Provides high level expertise on the Specialty area, in an interdisciplinary approach governing the total technical and managerial effort to support a solution throughout its life cycleParticipates in the definition, set up, institutionalization, supporting and maintenance of the Engineering Data Management / Chief Engineering back-office tools, standards, process and deliverablesDefines / manages the specific deliverables for the Specialty area, in accordance to the project life cycle or engineering organization’s needs.Builds and integrates the Engineering Data Management / Chief Engineering back-office processes towards the establishment of a complete solution, as delivered by the projectParticipates into definition of supporting life cycle processes that balance cost, schedule, and performance objectivesPrepare and deliver Engineering Data Management / Chief Engineering back-office artefacts (e.g. interactive schedules, resource plans, interactive dashboards, chief engineering / project management reports, SW/HW deliverables, Confluence pages, technical documentation, Earned Value Management KPIs) in collaboration with responsible Work Package ManagersBased on business needs, occasional travel within and outside the country may be required.Requirements:Experience in IT / System Engineering technical domain with IT technical background (e.g. Software, Computer Science)Experience with Agile Project Management (Confluence, Jira, Big Picture, Easy BI), project management tools (Ms Project, Enterprise Project Management, Ms Excel, SAP, Action items tracking, SharePoint, Risk management) and project management processes – at least one project management tool and experience in Agile tools are a must (e.g. Jira / Big Picture / Easy BI, Ms Project or similar others)Experience with data analysis, integration and reporting from various systemsAbility to easily communicate and interact with stakeholders (Chief Engineers, Project Managers, Work Package Managers etc.) – the role is transversal and assumes communication with various managers and teams, most communication needs to be handled remotelyFluent in English, ideally basic German and FrenchSpecific knowledgeAbility to understand and use basic scripts related to the tools mentioned above (Jira - JQL, Confluence Macros and creation of export templates, Excel / MS Project – VBA, etc), also administration and configuration of various tools - with guidanceKnowledge on Software development processes and/or hardware, engineering, Agile way of working, Jira / ConfluenceKnowledge on the Specialty area: Project Management and basic financial processesNice to have:

System engineering tools knowledge (e.g. DOORS, EA, Cameo, HP Quality Center)
Familiar with System Engineering methodologies (e.g. INCOSE)
