- University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- 3+ years of professional experience in accounting/finance, and a deep understanding of accounting rules and principles.
- A result-oriented person, focused on getting the job done, optimistic and open to learning new things.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and complex organization.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; Excel Power Query knowledge is a plus.
- Good command of English
- Experience in a multinational environment.
- Perform daily accounting and operational activities for Nuvei companies (mainly the Netherlands) – including but not limited to booking accruals, prepaid expenses, invoices, monthly closing JEs, maintaining trade payable/receivable ledgers, etc.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process by performing balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations, etc.
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant reports and various analysis to management, on request.
- Participate in statutory/group audits by preparing reports or gathering the info requested by internal/external auditors.
- 2.5 additional days of annual leave a quarter, if company hit quarterly targets
