- Establish and modernize the target operating model (central with decentral) for pre-deal and post-deal contract management (internal and external 3rd party contract relationships) within the end-to-end process and operating model of DB Global Procurement
- Consolidate existing contract management capacities, transform these capacities along with defined future operating model and finally lead the new contract management function in the future setup
- Establish a well-governed process and governance approach along with other stakeholders like Legal and RTC to drive standardization of contract clauses together with clear ownership, update cycles and required controls to ensure compliance
- Ensure solid data model and target architecture to respond to regulatory requirements, e.g. outsourcing registers, DORA requirements, etc.
- Lead any contract management related mitigation / remediation initiative, pro-actively plan for required approach and deliver mitigation within set timelines and objectives
- Build out a professional centralised capacity of a contract management CoE in target locations India / Bukarest in line with agreed operating model.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team to ensure that the progress is tracked, milestones are monitored and met, issues are escalated and resolved in a timely fashion, and ultimately that the programme delivers on-time and with all objectives successfully met.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead engagement with business sponsors and key stakeholders, ensuring visibility of delivering in-line with the project charter, identify risk and dependencies and ensure that costs are managed, and benefits delivered
- A master’s degree with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, finance, procurement, or comparable professional education
- 10 year + experience & track record in delivering transformational change in related business product services and / or in procurement process & vendor management
- Experience in implementing large scale technology change preferably in the procurement space and / or operations
- Deep Understanding of the Contract Management Lifecyle in the End-2-End Procurement Process
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Ability to build strong rapport with senior leaders across DB with experience in impactful communications
- Significant experience of global, complex, transformation programmes at scale
- Experience in organizational management, financial management, and portfolio management
- Confidence to challenge priorities, decisions, and visions/strategies
- Strategic agility to create strategies, anticipating future consequences and trends from internal and market perspectives, and ability to articulate potential scenarios and resulting future opportunities
