We incorporate various sub-divisions with SPOC representatives, project managers, SAP Basis experts, and SAP Security experts.About the projectWe are seeking a skilled SAP BASIS Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an SAP BASIS Consultant, you will be responsible for the monitoring, administration, and maintenance of SAP systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of SAP landscapes and provide technical expertise to support ongoing projects and initiativesJob Description
- Monitor and maintain SAP systems, including ECC, BW, Java, Solution Manager, and other related components.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as required.
- Perform pre- and post-step measures for system copies, system refreshes, client copies
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and uptime.
- Troubleshooting of OS, DB, and network technical issues
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect SAP systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide assistance and support to the HR team in the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll activities and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with functional teams to support SAP application deployments, migrations, and upgrades.
- Effectively handle and prioritize incoming tickets and requests using the ServiceNow ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and end-users.
- Stay current with SAP technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with the project team to support the S/4HANA migration initiative, providing assistance in various aspects of the project including planning, execution, testing, data migration, and post-migration activities.
- Proven experience as an SAP BASIS Consultant or similar role, with at least 3 years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture and components.
- Hands-on experience with SAP installation, configuration, and administration.
- Strong understanding of SAP security concepts and best practices.
- Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- SAP certification(s) are a plus.
