The Unit Sales Manager is responsible with achieving sales, distribution, profit objectives & executing goals on specific distribution channels, while controlling the budget of distribution channels in the area & improving performance indicators.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Achieving sales and profit objectives:
  • Coordinates and organizes the sales force to achieve the business plan on DTS (Down to Street) and OP (On Premise) channels (AOP) and is involved in building the long-term sales and distribution strategy and objectives;
  • Manages the budget for discounts and promotions, the sales and distribution budget (S&D) for the allocated area;
  • Identifies business growth and development opportunities and recommends the necessary action plan to achieve such growth;
  • Ensures distributor management in the assigned area, responsible for costs and productivity, develops sales forecasts;
  • Allocates/supervises the allocation of targets for each Territory Sales Manager in the team and/or for the partner distributor team in accordance with the area's potential, historical data, market and trade news, seasonality.
Achieving execution objectives:
  • Ensures successful implementation of company execution standards on each channel;
  • Implements and monitors the promotion of new products, launches corrective actions to optimize product distribution levels, coordinates and monitors merchandising actions to optimize shelf space under the best time and quality conditions;
  • Ensures alignment of distributors with PepsiCo's sales and distribution strategy through building and maintaining good relationships and by controlling and correcting distributor market execution to achieve superior distribution with minimal costs.
Team management:
  • Manages the DTS distribution channel and the headcount in the assigned area;
  • Coordinates recruitment processes for vacant positions in the area;
  • Maintains a high standard of motivation for the field sales team through regular and effective market visits, reduces staff turnover by improving the working atmosphere, positive attitude in meetings, communication, and transparency;
  • Evaluates performance, provides timely and accurate feedback, documents any issues that arise;
  • Manages cases of poor performance and immediately addresses disciplinary issues;
  • Implements bonus schemes for the sales force;
  • Prepares the monthly agenda and reports the weekly progress.
QualificationsYou are a good fit for the team if you have:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of Sales experience in managing multiple channels and extensive product portfolios;
  • Experience in coordinating and managing large sales organizations;
  • People Manager Skills;
  • Good strategic thinker, with business acumen;
  • High drive and results oriented spirit;
  • Committed team player with a passion to growth, being able to build strong relationships with peers and senior management;
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers;
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills/ project management skills
  • Bachelor`s degree;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft suite
  • Driving license.
