General InformationWe are seeking an experienced Internal Control Specialist to strengthen our contract governance, IT risk management, and internal control environment.In this role, you will collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, IT, and senior management to ensure compliance, improve processes, and support audit readiness across the organization.Key Responsibilities
  • Continuous improvement and implementationof the IT Internal Control System (IT ICS) in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements;
  • Coordination and orchestration of the IT ICS cycle, including planning, execution, and monitoring of control activities by designated control owners;
  • Evaluation of assessment results within the IT ICS cycle and identification of control deficiencies or gaps;
  • Initiation, and monitoring of remediation measures to address control weaknesses and mitigate IT-related risks;
  • Management of internal and external IT audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up actions;
  • Coordination of evidence collection and documentation for external audits conducted by statutory auditors and other third-party reviewers;
  • Preparation of management reports and regular reporting on IT ICS status, audit outcomes, risk assessments, and remediation progress;
  • Close collaboration with IT and business stakeholders within an international and cross-functional environment to ensure alignment and effective risk management.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Business IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, IT Security, Law or a related field;
  • 5-10 years of professional experience as an IT auditor at a public accounting firm (Big 4 or similar) or as an IT manager responsible for IT internal control systems and risk management;
  • Practical experience auditing IT environments in industrial companies, especially SAP environments and other complex IT applications, services or infrastructures;
  • Solid(verifiable through certifications or comparable qualifications) knowledge of common IT governance and control frameworks, both in theory and practice;
  • Structured, team-oriented work style with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills;
  • Relevant professional certifications or comparable equivalent qualifications are an advantage;
  • High motivation to work in a global, agile environment and willing to travel internationally;
  • Fluent business English (written and spoken); proficiency German is a plus;
  • Experience working in multinational and multicultural corporate environments.
