Your day to day:The Aplication DBA & SOX Technical Expert is responsible for driving innovation in the UAM ( User Access Management ) tool landscape on software development and for maintaining UAM repository data accurate and updated. With a focus on UAM repositories and data warehouses, this role is responsible to develop frameworks for account data collection across the entire Vodafone global datacentre and integration of non-GDC repository information.The role is responsible for the integration of new technologies (cloud-based services / classic data centre services) into the UAM compliance software stack and management of corresponding report action. Data modelling and data integrity are within his/her accountability building the foundation to GDPR and SOX compliance.
As the representative of the UAM archives and data warehouse area, the role is responsible for all technical solutions in this area, starting from basic installations to the configuration of the cluster and scripts at the level of the operating system (shell) and databases (sql) , including operating systems (Red Hat Linux) and databases (Oracle). The presentation and expertise of application structures (application design / APEX development) is part of the tasks of the role of Technical Expert in User Access Management and SOX.With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.
Perform application tuning and performance monitoring.
Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).
Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

A good understanding of the underlying operating system or systems.
A good knowledge of the physical database design.
Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring.
A good knowledge of how Oracle acquires and manages resources.
PL/SQL programming.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA/Application ADBA.
Oracle Certification preferred (OCA or higher).
SQL and PL/SQL, Eclipse 3.3+, UNIX scripting, DB Schema Design, DB Performance tuning, Oracle 10g+, TOAD 9.6+ or similar.
DB Artisan or similar, Microsoft Office 2007+, Microsoft Visio 2007+.
