We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a company with over 15 years of experience in project management. The company is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer with renewables experience to join their wind park project team.Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise LV, MV and HV works;
Review plans and specifications according to plan;
Set project timeline and permitting to attain construction readiness;
Liaison with DSO, TSO and ANRE on grid connection and permitting issues;
Monitor project deliverables;
Works management and supervision;
Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress;
Coach, manage and support project team members with tasks you assign them;
Accountability for day-to-day management of existing projects;
Managing optimization and implementation of Permits, Design and Construction;
Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System;
Analyze mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions;
Identify problems in design, plan, manage and deliver multiple projects;
Continually review the contractors construction schedule during the progress of the site works with regards to MEP works and report to the Project Manager on the same;
Advice on all issues regarding LEED and ensure that the appropriate documentation and information is provided to the appropriate authorities to obtain the LEED standard required on the project;
Review the Contractors installation method statements;
Where required prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and coordination issues;
Attend project, site progress, and any mechanical services-related technical meetings as directed by the Project Manager
Requirements:
Degree level qualifications in Electrical or Energy Engineering with knowledge in installations Design;
Ability to work independently with remote management and take responsibility for project delivery;
Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising safety or quality;
Strong attention to detail, accurate and methodical in work;
Strong verbal, written and organizational skills;
Good command of English (spoken and written);
Computing skills, MS Office & MS Project and AutoCAD;
At least 3 years experience in construction and/or Design and/or Grid Connection Works.
At least 3 years experience in MV, HV Works and HV Stations.
