Our client is a leader in renewable energy, driving the transition towards a sustainable future. They develop, build, and manage renewable energy projects across multiple technologies, including onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage systems.The Procurement Manager will join the Balance of Plant (BoP) and Solar PV procurement team. In this role, you will lead procurement for civil and electrical works, main transformers (MT), PV EPC contracts, and key equipment - supporting the full lifecycle of our renewable energy projects.
You'll drive procurement strategies, lead supplier negotiations, manage risk, and collaborate closely with internal teams including Technical and Construction Project Managers, Legal, and Development. Your work will be crucial in ensuring competitive, high-quality, and risk-optimized project execution.Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead procurement strategies for BoP, MT, key equipment, O&M, and PV EPC contracts.
Manage RFQs, tender evaluations, negotiations, and contract finalization.
Source and assess suppliers across multiple markets, maintaining strong relationships.
Minimize commercial and contractual risks, including interface and investor-related risks.
Support project teams on budgeting, scheduling, and construction planning.
Handle post-signing contract support, claims, insurance coordination, and lessons learned.
Contribute to continuous improvement of templates, processes, and supplier evaluations.

What We're Looking For

Strong background in commercial contract negotiations and procurement.
Experience with construction and infrastructure contracts (FIDIC, ABT, Orgalim, etc.).
Knowledge of civil/electrical works, wind, solar PV, or energy storage systems.
Skilled in project management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
