You then manage your worklist and mailbox, tackling new tasks such as processing supplier order confirmations and coordinating with project teams to align procurement activities with development needs.Collaboration is a key part of the role - in team meetings, you'll discuss challenges, share ideas, and develop solutions together, such as identifying and onboarding new suppliers for prototype or test parts. In the afternoon, you may focus on preparing discussions around the continuous improvement of procurement processes, helping to drive efficiency and innovation across the team.How You'll Make an Impact

Creating, checking and completing purchase requisitions in SAP, including determining prices and suitable sources of supply
Determining prices and suitable sources of supply / suppliers for test parts and initial samples as part of inquiries
Continuously review own procurement lists, create and update purchase orders, monitor order confirmation, progress and compliance with quality requirements
Independent clarification of necessary technical designs and critical quality requirements based on technical drawings, parts lists, etc. for the appropriate request for quotation
Monitoring of order confirmations, delivery dates and, if necessary, reminders to suppliers

What You Bring

You have a degree in Logistics, Planning, Scheduling, or related field, or equivalent qualification
Demonstrated track record of extensive experience in procurement, with a preference for purchasing within a technical domain
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position with basic IT skills (MS Office) and company-specific applications in SAP
Sound knowledge of operational processes and the range of components
The ability and willingness to acquire missing knowledge and to ask for support if necessary
Assertiveness, flexibility, respect, fairness, empathy and sensitivity as well as a high level of self-motivation
The ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
Creativity, willingness to innovate and entrepreneurial understanding, conscientious work paired with pragmatism and a hands-on mentality
Business fluent communication in German and English
Availability to work from our Bucharest office 3 days per week, with 2 days remote
