This role focuses on building robust time series forecasting models and other machine learning solutions to support financial planning and decision-making, such as ARR prediction, revenue forecasting, and customer churn modeling.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure ML to develop predictive models and deploy them in production environments.What you'll do at UiPathBuild and deploy time series forecasting and other ML models for key financial metricsOwn the end-to-end ML lifecycle: from exploration and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deploymentLeverage Microsoft Fabric Notebooks, Azure ML, and Python to build, train, and serve machine learning modelsWork with SQL and modern data lake technologies; familiarity with Delta Tables is a strong plusCollaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and reliability across the modeling pipelineTranslate business problems into data-driven solutions that drive impactCommunicate insights and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.What you'll bring to the team5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or applied machine learningStrong Python programming skills, particularly in libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, or ProphetProven experience in building end-to-end forecasting models and working with time series dataGood SQL skills and ability to work across multiple complex datasetsExperience working in cloud-based environments, especially Azure ML and/or Microsoft Fabric Notebooks is a plusExperience with Delta Lake / Delta Tables on Lakehouse architectures is a plusExposure to financial or SaaS business metrics (ARR, churn, expansion, etc.) is a plusAbility to work independently and own projects from start to finishStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environmentThe ability to understand and present findings to a non-technical audience.
