As a Team Lead, you will be managing the ingestion and production of corporate data on behalf of Sustainalytics and Morningstar and you will lead the team that operationalizes universes and research.It is important for the person filling this role to coach and guide the less experienced members of the team.The Team Lead will work closely with their manager, team and colleagues which are spread across multiple countries, as well as with internal Sustainalytics stakeholders.The person will be accountable for ensuring and improving the team's performance, productivity, and efficiency.Strong planning, analytical thinking, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to be successful in this role.Lead by example, engaging the team to achieve goals and acting proactively to ensure smooth team operations.Monthly reporting to senior management on projects, and performance of business processes and tools.Represent the team in meetings.Act as main point of contact for all questions, comments and concerns related to the assigned projects and initiatives.Drive continuous quality improvement, making sure internal and external quality concerns are dealt with properly.Coordinate and implement successfully all L1 ProjectsDevelop and implement with the help of the team members automation in day-to-day work to help simplify & streamline processes and reduce manual work i.e. contribute to business objectives that drive efficiency and quality.Ensure every team member has KPIs/ OKRs outlined to contribute to new innovations & implementation and takes responsibility to adopt new changes in process or as needed.Collaborate with colleagues across global teams and offices.Conduct weekly check-ins and team meetings to better understand the challenges that the team is facing and find solutions to remove the roadblocks.Assess the team members' performance on a quarterly basis, identify the areas of improvement and propose refresher training where needed.QUALIFICATIONSExperience and soft skills:Master’s degree in a related discipline.3-5 years of experience in running and managing projects and creating project progress reports.3 years of experience in people management and leading teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced, international, and technical environment.Strong analytical, entrepreneurial, and problem-solving skills.Alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision, and values.Technical skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Technical skills including Power BI/ SQL/ Python/ APIs knowledge/ experience.Nice to have:Strong project management and execution skills and proven experience optimizing processes, six sigma qualifications are a plus.Project management certification.#LI-PI1315_Sustainalytics SRL Legal EntityMorningstar’s hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate in-person each week.
