Job Description:DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.We are looking for highly skilled and experienced people to help us build and deliver cutting-edge products and AI-based solution by shaping the way in which we interact with the financial products and business processes in Private Banking area and leveraging the best-in-class Data Science and Machine Learning algorithms.We are looking for motivated candidates that will help us to:

Delivery of AI and ML applications on modern infrastructure in an international business context.
Stays up to date on most recent Data Science / AI trends and integrates into model development.
Engages into Data Science / AI education within PB / TDI organization.

What You’ll Do:

Understanding and translating business requirements into technical concepts as preparation for AI application development.
Turning unstructured data into useful information by e.g., applying NLP.
Advanced pre-processing of data as required by the respective AI application.
Advanced analytics of business data using modern statistical approaches and analytical systems.
Implementation of AI and ML applications in company with the Deutsche Bank IPB Business Organisation.
Designing machine learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software to automate predictive models.
Train and retrain systems when necessary.
Operating and governing the delivered ML models.
Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools.
Execute data science experiments to gain new insights into the available data, which allows generating new business opportunities.
Visualisation of data using common BI tools.
Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks if necessary.
Rollout and document changes and applications according to regulatory requirements.
Maintain and deliver Bugfixes for existing AI and ML applications.
Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and research on Data Science field (e.g. Graph neuronal networks, Transformer based neuronal network etc.) and integrates them into model development.

What Skills You’ll Need:

BSc in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or similar field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.
Proficiency in at least one of programming language (ideally Python) with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Understanding of different database technologies, including relational and non-relational databases.
Knowledge of common Python frameworks for data processing, data science and machine learning e.g. Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Numpy, Tensorflow and others.
Comprehensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modelling, and software architecture.
Experience with appropriate techniques for data visualization and processing of large data sets.
Knowledge of industry standard processes for build, deploy, release and support (CI/CD, incident/problem/change management etc.)

Nice to have:

Experience with cloud computing ideally GCP or similar.
Effective management of the ML projects lifecycle and associated models.
Exposure to ML models deployment, monitoring, and governance, preferrable GCP or similar.
Background with specific NLP frameworks e.g. NLTK, Spacy.
Knowledge of finance industry and understanding of financial products and business processes.
