Short company descriptionWhy we're different:At Capgemini, we help organizations across the world become more agile, more competitive and more successful. Smart, tailored, often ground-breaking technical solutions to complex problems are the norm. But so, too, is a culture that's as collaborative as it is forward thinking. Working closely with each other, and with our clients, we get under the skin of businesses and to the heart of their goals. You will too.Capgemini is proud to represent nearly 130 nationalities and its cultural diversity. Our holistic definition of diversity extends beyond gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, race, age and religion. Capgemini views diversity as everything that makes us who we are as an organization, including our social background, our experiences in life and work, our communication styles and even our personality. These dimensions contribute to the type of diversity we value the most: diversity of thought.RequirementsYour role
As a Solution Architect with Capgemini, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation, shaping and translating business and IT strategies into realizable solutions, and guiding the design of sustainable, scalable architectures that address complex business challenges.
In this role you will:

  • Perform responsibilities related to technology, data, and application architecture, using and customizing architecture, modelling, and design tools where needed.
  • Design conceptual architecture models using standard tools, define solution components, assess reusable elements from existing systems, and present multiple architectural views to communicate proposals effectively.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy customized artefacts - such as reports, scripts, diagrams, layouts, and tool configurations - based on defined requirements.
  • Evolve architecture models throughout the solution lifecycle, integrating new technologies and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Ensure correct IT design implementation by providing clear specifications to project teams, supporting issue resolution during development, testing, and operations, and offering governance guidance on modelling tools and conventions.
ResponsibilitiesYour profile
  • Strong experience in solution architecture and design across software, cloud, and data environments, with excellent knowledge of architecture modelling, project management, and at least one architectural sub-role (technology, data, or applications/services architect).
  • Hands-on expertise with architecture, modelling, and design tools (e.g., Sparx EA), along with solid knowledge of key IT domains such as software engineering, security, infrastructure, networking, data management, and system services.
  • Proven experience in software development and working with on-premise, virtualized, and cloud-based infrastructures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including strong understanding of cloud platforms and security best practices.
  • Practical experience in agile software development environments and familiarity with technologies such as OpenShift (OCP), PostgreSQL, and Kafka; biometrics knowledge is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce and present high-quality documentation and operate effectively in international and multicultural environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a technology, data, or applications/services architect, supported by a TOGAF practitioner certification.
