Join us and see the difference.Work LikeABoschJob DescriptionJoin us as key enabler for digitalization for Engineering and Manufacturing at ME.As a Data engineer you will:

Drive the design and implementation of application data models.
Implement data that satisfy the needs of the ME ECU business requirements.
Work with different types of data, data sources, infrastructure, existing building blocks (e.g. APIs, micro services) in our ECU Engineering data platform.
Create and operate automated pipelines for data extraction, transformation and integration.
Implement strategies to ensure defined data quality standards and data linage.
Be responsible for developing automated integration and orchestration of data architectures and pipelines for manufacturing and engineering solutions and AI model deployment.

Qualifications

University studies (master's degree or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a comparable subject.
Proven knowledge and experience in developing cloud-based solutions.
Several years of experience in software development with a focus on data pipelines.
Strong programming skills in Python, Scala or Java.
Proficiency with data-lake providers (Azure Databricks preferred).
Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools (GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines).
Familiar with streaming solutions (e.g. Apache Kafka and Flink).
Knowledge of data management concepts, pipeline deployment and data provisioning.
