- Drive the design and implementation of application data models.
- Implement data that satisfy the needs of the ME ECU business requirements.
- Work with different types of data, data sources, infrastructure, existing building blocks (e.g. APIs, micro services) in our ECU Engineering data platform.
- Create and operate automated pipelines for data extraction, transformation and integration.
- Implement strategies to ensure defined data quality standards and data linage.
- Be responsible for developing automated integration and orchestration of data architectures and pipelines for manufacturing and engineering solutions and AI model deployment.
- University studies (master's degree or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a comparable subject.
- Proven knowledge and experience in developing cloud-based solutions.
- Several years of experience in software development with a focus on data pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala or Java.
- Proficiency with data-lake providers (Azure Databricks preferred).
- Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools (GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines).
- Familiar with streaming solutions (e.g. Apache Kafka and Flink).
- Knowledge of data management concepts, pipeline deployment and data provisioning.
