
Supplier Quality Engineer

- Performs inspections of parts using various inspection equipment (including CMM tactile or optic, 3D scans) to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Reviews and interprets technical drawings and specifications to determine inspection criteria.
- Conducts inspection of supplied raw materials and other manufactured products.
- Takes part in the process audits at suppliers, to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Provides support in the launch process of new products, ensures that suppliers meet quality standards.
- Handles the complaints to suppliers and the returns of materials to them.
- Cooperates with suppliers to improve quality processes.
- Prepares quality reports.
- Records, analyzes, and archives quality data.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or material science (master could be an advantage)
- +3 years' experience in quality.
- Extensive knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiar with the operation of CMM (such as Zeiss Calypso) and other precision inspection equipment and measurement techniques.
- Familiar with ISO 9001, Core tools (SPC, P-FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA), tolerances and standards.
- Strong understanding of part and manufacturing processes (such as welding, coating, plastic injection, additive manufacturing, production of PCBA , etc.).
- Knowledge regarding Physics and Chemistry.
- Strong understanding of geometry and the ability to interpret and visualize 3D representations of components.
- Qualification as an internal/ VDA 6.3 auditor (constitutes an advantage).
- Proactive, analytical and able to work autonomously and make decisions.
- Fluent in English and/or German language.
- Computer operating skills - MS Office.
- Experience working with SAP - is an advantage.
