We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.The Chief Security Office (CSO) Chief Technology Office (CTO) Identity & Access (I&A) function is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and compliant identity and access management capabilities across the organization. As part of our major modernization agenda, the function transforms its foundational platform to enable next-generation security, operational agility, and regulatory compliance.As Transformation Director for Identity & Access, you will lead the comprehensive transformation of the I&A platform. Your remit will be to manage strategic migration to modern, cloud-native solutions, ensuring seamless integration with emerging technologies, and positioning the organization to meet evolving security threats, regulatory standards, and operational complexities. This role will require you to manage a diverse global team within a matrixed environment, orchestrate a dynamic and challenging vendor landscape, and deliver against ambitious transformation milestones.ResponsibilitiesI&A Transformation
  • Anticipate and address challenges related to legacy integration, cloud adoption, and the harmonization of systems, ensuring that new solutions are resilient, scalable, and future-proof.
Program Execution & Delivery
  • Prepare comprehensive steering materials and, if required, provide hands-on support to ensure the highest quality standards and full readiness for executive review.
Team & Vendor Management
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, leveraging diverse expertise to overcome resistance to change and knowledge gaps inherent in transformation programs.
  • Coordinate with a complex vendor ecosystem, ensuring alignment with internal standards, KPIs, and best practices in security and risk management.
Contract Management
  • Oversee all aspects of contract management within a multi-vendor environment, ensuring consistent performance, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization.
Transformation Challenges and Strategic Considerations
  • Navigate the transition from legacy systems to cloud-native platforms, balancing speed of migration with the necessity of robust security and compliance controls.
  • Mitigate risks emerging from fragmented vendor landscapes, aligning multiple stakeholders under a unified transformation vision.
  • Champion change management to overcome organizational resistance, ensuring successful adoption and long-term sustainability of new technologies and processes.
Oversight of CSO CTO Local Organization in Bucharest
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and operational excellence, cultivating a high-performing culture that supports the CTO modernization efforts.
Skills:
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end transformation initiatives, overseeing major programs to elevate the organization's identity and access capabilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in execution of transformation projects, maintaining a focus on security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven leadership in managing and inspiring global, multidisciplinary teams, spanning engineering, operations, and transformation functions.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to proactively address challenges related to contract management, evolving service requirments and vendor accountability
