This includes ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and quality while supporting business goals and cross-team initiatives. Projects can be a detailed technical pitch via an RFP participation in order to win the business of Tier 1 clients, an integration project in flight that involves multiple layers from EM's product and a smaller scale but detailed solution to a complex feature business demands. The role combines strong technical leadership with collaboration across engineering and business stakeholders.What You'll get to do:Design, architect, and oversee implementation of solutions, for:Integration projects for Tier 1 clients that usually come with a multi-layer complexity due to involvement of many modules from several EveryMatrix products which are in scopeRFP projects where identifying and presenting the technical solution is critical to the bidding process and chances of winningAny isolated feature for a project where the scope is complex enough that requires a methodical approach and deep understanding of the EM product in order to shape it to the requirements requestedAct as a technical driver across multiple initiatives, ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainabilityTranslate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and technically sound architecturesDefine architectural standards, best practices, reference models, governance principles, and operational guidelinesDefine CI/CD expectations and contribute to engineering quality standardsLead discovery and assessment phases, including architecture reviews, gap analysis, technical risk identification, solution scopingProvide technical estimations and contribute to roadmap planningBuild Proofs of Concept (PoCs) when needed to validate approachesSupport pre-sale and partner discussions with technical expertiseProvide expert advisory on solution design - Performance tuning, Data modelling, Cost optimizationCollaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation aligned with architectural decisionsGuide teams in building future-proof, scalable, and maintainable systemsEnsure technical decisions support both short-term delivery and long-term platform healthWork effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (Product, Business, Leadership)Mentor engineers and support their professional developmentConduct knowledge-sharing sessions and promote technical excellenceAct as a role model for engineering culture, ownership, and accountabilitySupport teams by providing guidance on complex technical challengesKeeping up to date with the latest technologies and trendsWhat You need to shine:Minimum 3 years of experience in a Solution Architect/ Head of Engineering roleBachelor's Degree in a technical fieldExperience within system integration projectsSoftware development knowledge (.NET/ Java preferred) and database administration (SQL)Good understanding of software infrastructureExperience with Kafka and Cloud technologies (nice to have)Fluency in EnglishHere's what we offer:Start with 22 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 32 days by your fifth year with us.Enjoy a flexible hybrid work schedule after your first three months with us.Benefit from two Free Fridays each year, limited to one per quarter.Daily catered lunch or monthly lunch allowance.Private Medical Subscription.Access online learning platforms like Udemy for Business and LinkedIn Learning, and a budget for external training.Our office perks include parking, on-site massages, and frequent team-building activities in various locations.
