
Head of Project Delivery Management

- Evolve the skills and capabilities required in the PDM discipline, according to the direction agreed at country discipline level, and in line with Endava’s vision.
- Grow the PDM discipline by recruiting, being involved in organizing various L&D programs, strategic planning, and allocating people to accounts and projects according to their seniority, skills, and career development objectives.
- Provide support to client visits in the Cluj Napoca offices; offer an excellent experience and showcase our capabilities and strengths, for the PDM discipline overall as well as for the location.
- Provide support to stakeholders in the wider Endava context to successfully deliver projects from Romania.
- Work with the other Heads of PDM and Discipline Leads in Romania, as well as with the Cluj Napoca Leadership Team, and provide meaningful contributions to the country discipline and location objectives as agreed within the team.
- Run performance reviews and perform local evaluations. The local Head of PDM is ultimately accountable for ensuring fair and equitable promotion and compensation for discipline staff by consistently applying the recommended policies and procedures from the Endava Group.
- Work with other disciplines, locations and their leadership teams on Endava group objectives.
- Represent Endava at local events, conferences and meetups, and built relationships with universities and technical communities.
- Play an active role in commercial engagements, acting as Senior Project / Program / Delivery Manager after the initial onboarding
- Last but not least: guide decisions, act, and communicate in the spirit of the Endava values, thereby promoting their adoption in the community.
- Min. 10 years of experience in IT project management roles: Project Manager, Delivery Manager or similar.
- The candidate is expected to work easily with people: listen, engage, negotiate, influence, inspire, motivate, and lead others. Interaction skills are key to being able to act successfully in the role.
- Leadership abilities: strategic thinking, “lead by example”, problem-solving mindset, teamwork, delegation, time management, and creative thinking.
- Commercial and client-facing skills: build long term relationshipsshaping new projects, coordination of delivery activities, stakeholder management.
- Broad understanding of technology with knowledge and extensive experience of delivering complex projects / programs / initiatives from presales to go live and ongoing support.
