Its defence and space technologies enable governments and institutions to protect natural resources, societies and individual freedom.Interest group:Software Engineering, Automation testingContract type/working time:Permanent/FulltimeWork experience:2 yearsWe are looking for a smart and reliable Junior Test Automation Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.The ideal candidate has excellent abilities in Test Management, experience with different types of systems and structures (application, interface and underlying subsystems), good test automation skills, DevOps awareness and scripting skills.Responsibilities:Review requirements, specifications and technical documentationCreate and maintain the IV&V specific testing Artefacts (testing plans, test scenarios definition, test execution, defect handling, test completion reports, etc.)Carry out the IV&V activities on the system integration platform until the system acceptanceCreate and maintain test automation frameworks based on project’s needs, as well as performing research (Proof of Concepts)Participate to project’s ceremonies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, V-Model)Based on business needs, travel outside the country may be requiredRequirements:Knowledge and skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or similar background1-2 years working experience in software testing/system testing1+ year of experience using test automation tools (test automation frameworks implementation would be a plus)Experience in testing Web applications and APIs.Experience with programming languages such as Java/Python/JavaScript/TypeScriptExperience with frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework or similarKnowledge of continuous integration, build and deployment toolsKnowledge of JIRA ticketing system or similar systemsProficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect trackingISTQB certification is a plusExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFluent in EnglishPolice record cleanCompetencies:Customer focusExcellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service.Solution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines.Strong service orientation and delivery focusTeam player who is also able to work independently and handle conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent, quality performance standards.Working in a multicultural environment / as part of a teamWhat do we offer you?A great place to develop your careerExciting and meaningful projectsContinuous education and trainingA motivating salary and a comprehensive package of benefitsPerformance related bonusThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company: Airbus Defence and Space Romania SRLEmployment Type: PermanentExperience Level: ProfessionalJob Family: Software Engineering
